Pastor Derek Bradshaw was voted in as the Lead Pastor of Salem Baptist Church in April of 2015. 

He grew up here at SBC and was actively involved in the ministries of our church even as a child and teenager. Upon graduation, Pastor Derek left for Bible College where he received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Pastoral Theology. Prior to accepting the call to return and pastor Salem, he was a Bible college professor, assisted in a Chicago, IL church plant, and helped lead a teen ministry which started and operated Bible studies inside of public schools. 

Under his leadership, SBC has added several new ministries and classes as avenues to reach more people with the good news of The Gospel. 

Pastor Derek’s love for his home church is evident in his practical, compassionate, and powerful sermons. Pastor Derek is married to his wife, Whitney, and has two sons (Gabriel and Gideon) and one daughter (Jasper).
